Tan Sri Alex Lee Athletes’ Education Fund

In recognition of the contributions by the late Tan Sri Alex Lee (as he is more popularly known), the Olympic Council of Malaysia established in November 1999, the Tan Sri Alex Lee Athletes’ Education Fund in his memory. The Education Fund is to provide yearly study grants, of a maximum of RM3,000 each per year, to former and present national athletes, to further their tertiary education.

The response to the Education Fund was overwhelming and within the first five months, over RM250,000 were received. The founder donors of the Education Fund are as follows:
