News ACC Track Asia Cup 2010 - Malaysia Round The Track Asia Cup was launched by the Asian Cycling Confederation (ACC) in 2003 with the objective to raise the standard of Track Cycling in Asia. The Championship has since developed from a small number of participating nations to an extremely important competition of the International Cycling Union (UCI). The 1st leg of the 2010 Track Asia Cup was held in Hokodate, Japan, from 12th to 14th June 2010. The 2nd leg was co-organized by the National Sports Council (NSC) and the Malaysian National Cycling Federation (MNCF) in Cheras Velodrome, Kuala Lumpur, from 25th to 27th June 2010. The Opening Ceremony of the 2nd leg was held on 24th June 2010 at 8.00 pm at the Olympic Sports Hotel. The Opening Ceremony was graced by Hon. Minister of Youth and Sports Malaysia, YB Dato' Ahmad Shabery Cheek. Important guests at the Opening Ceremony were Mr. Tatsuo Hayashi, President of UCI International Commissaire, Tuan Haji Abu Samah Wahab, President of Malaysian National Cycling Federation, Y.Bhg. Dato' Zolkples Embong, Director General of NSC, Tuan Haji Ab. Jalil Abdullah, Director of Event Management Division NSC. OCM was represented by its Hon Asst.
