Malaysia will be sending a total of 18 athletes and 8 officials to the 4th Commonwealth Youth Games that will be held from the 7th September to 13th September 2011. The athletes are:
a) Athletics – Alif Ashraf Mohd Razali, & Harikh Ammar Mohd Sobri
b) Badminton – Zulfadli Zulkffli, Soong Joo Ven, Teo Ee Yi, Nelson Heg, Sonia Cheah, Yang Li Lian, Chow Mei Kuan, & Lee Meng Yean
c) Cycling – Muhd Arfy Qhairant Amran, Hamdan Hamidun, Ju Pha Som Net, & Nurul Nadia Mohamad Fauzi.
d) Swmming – Tern Jian Han, Chi Chia Khian, Hii Siew Siew, & Erika Kong

The coaches accompanying the athletes are:
a) Athletics – Tan Kok Lim
b) Badminton - Yap Kim Hock, & Woon Sze Mei
c) Cycling - Junaidi Mohammad Nasir
d) Swimming - Sazali Salleh

The contingent will be led by Rosmanizam Abdullah, Hon. Assistant Treasurer of OCM. He will be assisted by Dr. Jasmiza Khuzairi Jasme from Institut Sukan Negara and Chua Hong Tam as Secretariat Staff from OCM. The flag handling ceremony and a press conference was held on Monday 5th September 2011 at 12.30 pm at the OCM Museum and Hall of Fame.
